A media conference for the 132nd China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) is held at the fair pavilion in Canton, East China's Guangdong province, Oct 9, 2019. Xu Bing, spokesperson of the Canton Fair and deputy director of the China Foreign Trade Center, introduced the general preparations for the fair to the media. The 132nd Canton Fair will open online on the morning of Oct 15, according to the meeting.
The theme of the fair is "China Unicom Domestic and International Double Circulation". The exhibition content includes three parts: online display platform, supply and purchase docking service, cross-border e-commerce zone, with columns including exhibitor exhibits, virtual exhibition hall, exhibitor line display, news and activities, and conference services. The export exhibition will have 50 exhibition areas according to 16 categories of commodities, while the import exhibition wil have 6 categories of commodities grouped into corresponding exhibition areas.
